History of the RFID
An RFID system consists of a tiny radio transponder, a radio receiver and transmitter and was first developed in 1973. We’ve incorporated it into the legs of our sunnies for a completely different reason then what it was originally intended.
USE?
Assigning your Pastel ID to your own pastel account allows you to personalise your sunglasses to showcase whatever content you see fit. It works in a corporate sense as a virtual business card, as an artist you can upload your content for easy access, you can load your social media platforms, mobile number or simply as a name tag. We wanted to put something into the sunglasses that could evolve with time, and continue to stay fresh, new and connected to Pastel.
